The Owaooye of Imesi-Ile in Osun State, Oba Enoch Akinyemi, has called on government to give special attention to the community being a gateway to a neighbouring Ekiti State to further improve security across the state.

Oba Akinyemi, who spoke during the grand finale of 2022 Imesi-Ile Day celebrations, however challenged indigenes of the town to keep supporting efforts to develop and secure lives and property of the residents.

The royal father commended hunters and other community volunteers for working hard to keep the community safe, urging indigenes of Imesi-Ile across the globe to continue supporting efforts to develop it.

Oba Adeyemi said, “We should not rely on the government. We should try as much as possible to make sure we contribute to the development of the town and we can do it provided we put our mind into it.”
